SUAREZ LINKED WITH SHOCK LIVERPOOL RETURN
With the summer transfer window drawing closer as each week passes, football fans are expected to be looking forward to their clubs making new signings, as well as letting go of those who have been deemed surplus to requirements at their clubs. There are also expected to be several twists and turns, and players who could also make shocking returns to their former clubs, and one of those scenarios is a possible transfer of Luis Suarez back to Liverpool from Atletico Madrid.
He eventually left Liverpool and joined Barcelona some years ago and immediately formed a lethal partnership with Lionel Messi. The Teo stars were eventually joined by Brazilian superstar Neymar who joined from Brazilian side Santos and completed the famous MSN (Messi-Suarez-Neymar) attacking trio and was a part of one of the most feared attacking players in the world.
However, Neymar’s departure from the club back in 2018 to Paris Saint-Germain began the breaking away of that attacking trio, and things began to change from there. With Suarez and Messi now the Teo remaining top stars at the club, the connection became a bit cold.
Suarez left Barca last season and joined Atletico Madrid after Ronald Koeman decided he was too old to lead the line for the club. After starting the season brightly and scoring a couple of goals for the Rojiblancos, the Uruguayan star appears to be unhappy at the club at the moment and has been linked with a return to Liverpool. However, it remains to be seen whether Klopp will take him back.
